Explore the magic of transforming flax fiber into textured paper that will be applied over, in and through your constructions adding dimensionality to the form. Use surface embellishment techniques such as mark-making and stitching to build up layers adding color and texture to your fiber sculptures.

In this process oriented 2-day workshop participants will learn methods for constructing armatures with flexible materials like wire and danish cord for handmade paper applications.  

All levels welcome.

Workshop Details:

  • A materials/resource list will be emailed at the time of registration

  • 2-day online workshop meets from 10am - 1pm MST

  • The Zoom link will be sent via email prior to the first scheduled day.
