Summer “on the road” workshops

From the Puget Sound to the Bay Area and places in between - it was great being home at sea level feeling my roots. I missed my teardrop trailer, but stayed at lovely campgrounds along the way and with dear friends.

It was lovely working with delightful people who fearlessly jumped into creating collage and sculpture with natural materials. For most, fiber sculpture is a totally new experience. Every workshop I offer validates the power of the creative spirit and individuality. Each person receives the same materials and instructions yet everyone’s work is totally unique. This experience has been the driving force for me as a teaching artist. I truly love sharing my creative process and receiving so much wisdom from students.

Thank you Bellissima Art Escapes, MarinMOCA and the Mendocino Art Center for hosting the workshops and providing studio spaces that enhanced everyone’s creativity.

Now back at my high desert studio, I’m preparing for in-person and online workshops, also the National Craft Open Studio Weekend (July 18/19) and Taos Studio Tour (Labor Day weekend).

Visit the Workshop Page for details about upcoming workshops.
